Gamcare is the UK’s leading provider of help to problem Gamblers. Their existing brand, its marketing material and website had become tired, inconsistent and difficult to manage. They required a new visual identity, a mobile first designed website and marketing templates.

The newly created visual identity forms the basis of a brand toolkit, the kit contains information on best brand practises across key touchpoints, updated brand values and marketing templates for future use.
The new identity feels supportive, encouraging and professional. The main focus of the new site needed to be the gambler who required help there and then. They have a strong existing user-base, many of its thousands of forum members accessing it on a daily basis. This was a great place to undertake key research into how best to improve the site, and how easily they could find relevant resources and content.
The consultation period revealed that the majority of their user-base were accessing the site via mobile devices, and that the organisation’s core services were difficult to find on internal pages, with much of its useful content buried within a confusing navigation system. We set about creating a cohesive mobile first navigation structure, their core services now accessible via a sticky help menu “Talk to someone” at the foot of every page. This new menu contained their four key services and their live status. Their marketing material and website now dovetail into a coherent flexible brand. Since its launch we have received excellent feedback from their existing userbase, both from professional users and those accessing its support services.
