Visual Identity and bespoke website design for a leading football podcast including itunes and social media artwork.

CHALLENGE

The Totally Football Show is an award winning family of podcasts, first launching in 2017 and immediately attracting a six figure audience, they quickly built on this success by releasing five more football related podcasts over the following 12 months including the acquisition of The Offside Rule (a show dedicated to the Women’s Super League). They required a strong visual identity that would make them stand apart in a highly competitive marketplace, and a mobile first designed website to provide supporting content to its family of shows.

SOLUTION

The visual identity had to flexible, work in variety of different formats and sizes across multiple touchpoint and be instantly recognisable. We achieved this by giving the shows their own badge, colour coded and incorporating the universal podcast symbol. The logo even appeared on the Melchester Rovers shirts as official sponsors in 2018/2019, a legendary football team as featured in iconic British football comic Roy of the Rovers.

The site’s biggest challenges was to create a platform that served all shows (and future shows), in a coherent easy to navigate manner. The site was designed mobile first as the majority of listeners access podcasts through mobile devices.

All shows have their own news, features and long-read articles written by regular guests about podcast related content. This allowed us to expand the brand further through typography, supporting graphics and unique bold layouts.
